So, Not too bad, right? Sure its a PuG, and sure I suck at taking screenshots (Damn you, Zardock), but #2 Killing and #4 Dmg for an EoTS, I'm happy.

P.S. Whats up with Alliance EoTS this weekend? I only did three matches but we won them ALL.. how odd. But keep it up!

Warrior PvP

So, because I'm now raiding with Mand, Pool just kind of sits around and prospects ore for me and does the occasional heroic. Revolution being the PvP guild it is I felt like I needed at least one character to be good at PvP, and I can't handle the constant weekly or daily respecs of Mand to accomodate raiding. About a week ago, I was getting really tired of heroics and I decided to respec Pool 33/28 Arms/Fury. I found this spec off Tankspot, and I chose it because I really liked the added survivability of Second Wind. It amazes me how much my health regens after being chain stunned by rogues or just stunned in general by other classes.

I've pretty much been just doing PuG BG's, and I've definitely realized a ton of new changes with 2.4 First of all, getting honor is pretty much just ezmode right now. Maybe its just because I had tons of marks sitting in my bank, but this week I've upgraded two pieces of Glad gear. Pretty much I've been running AV (which I now realize I completely hate) as well as AB and EOTS, which I've come to really enjoy. WSG is on the back burner for now, as I have tons of WSG marks and few of the other ones.

I don't have an arena team at the moment, but I'm looking to team up with maybe a Resto Druid or a Resto Shammy, seeing as they make one of the best teams. I'm not against a two DPS team, but we'll see, I have to figure out what my future partner wants to do. 3v3 wise, I'm looking into SL/SL lock and Resto Druid, or Mage and Resto Druid. I could accept probably another healer, but Resto Druids are are looking really nice in arena right now if they know how to kite at all. Hopefully finding a partner within Revolution won't be too hard as it is a PvP guild, but we'll see, I have yet to really work to try to find a partner. I'm also kind of waiting to gear up a bit because I don't want to go in there and get owned just cause my gear sucks and get a little embarrassed.

P.S. If you look at my armory and see some unenchanted/ungemed blues and an oddly enchanted/gems in any of my gear, its because I'm extremely poor (probably about 100g between all my characters) and I was using some PvP gear in my tanking set. More on how this works out later!

New Blog

Right, like the world needs one more WoW blog to read? Well, I love reading them, so I decided to try one out for myself as a way to vent and maybe spread some information.

So, me.

My first character, Poolstick was made around two years ago, and I slowly but surely leveled him to 70 with some RL friends that have now quit the game. After about 6 months, I finally hit 60 and began raiding in an alliance between Knights of Freedom and Mortis Ominous of the Bloodhoof server. To be quite honest, I had no idea what I was doing at the time, and I went straight into MC with a bunch of green that probably had intel on them because I was such a noob. I raided with my IRL friends, Mandrena and Joelthefish, until TBC in this alliance. We were in KoF, and when TBC hit, MO split up so that ended the Alliance. Mandrena and I leveled together in until we hit 70 (Joelthefish took a long absence from the game, never to truly return), when we promptly left the guild for House of Amber, where I had a good friend, Falbala. Soon after we joined, Falbala quit (of course), but we kept on playing, seemingly non-stop pugging of normal and heroic instances.

We joined as HoA was beginning Gruul's, and we seemed to fit in quite well and enjoyed the people immensely. We were gearing up quickly and running Kara on a weekly basis until we finally took down Gruul. I was playing mainly as an OT (Prot, of course), and Mand was running deep Affliction. HoA is where I met my best WoW friends, and learned the most about the game, as there were many great players that worked with me as mentors. There I was introduced to Tankspot, the greatest warrior resource on the web, which I still read every day. HoA ran into 2-3 bad weeks where we did not have enough people on to raid, and we eventually fell apart as people who wanted to be hardcore left for more hardcore guilds and people who wanted to be social didn't raid much. I tried to stay as long as I could, because it had truly become my home, but I eventually had to leave out of the desire to raid. As began to fall apart, Mandrena completely quit playing, much to my dismay. He gave me his account, and I now keep both characters as up to date as possible.

When I left HoA, I attempted to join a new guild on Bloodhoof, Apocalypse, on Mandrena because I was beginning to get burnt out on tanking and they were not currently recruiting tanks at the time. Many members went to Apoc from HoA, so I went too, thinking I could maintain their intense raid schedule. Apoc was pretty hardcore, and they cleared SSC within weeks of forming. As I first joined, I watched my friends from HoA raid while I sat outside, waiting for my chance to get in. When I finally did get into the raids, I would dislike the officers and the guild in general as they seemed to me to be very stiff and unfriendly. Because of this, I took a two week hiatus from the game, only to come back to find that I had my ass royally booted, which I had completely anticipated.

From there I joined Draconis Erus, which formed when Mortis Ominous broke up. I was glad to be going back to some old friends I knew, and I had fun with many of them. Unfortunately, the guild leader is probably one of the biggest @sshats I have met playing this game, and I couldn't stand to be around him, so I didn't raid. For months I played casually, PuGing this and that and getting some badges. I eventually left because many of the people there were completely retarded and I was not going to be able to raid and it was time for me to get back into the game.

An old friend from, Tyrade, noticed I was unguilded one day in IF and asked me if I'd like to join Revolution, a PvP-PvE guild who had recently taken down Vashj. I was all for going to a new place and meeting some great new people, so I readily accepted the offer, making Poolstick my main. After a few weeks of raiding on and off as Pool, I realized that my tanking was not needed because of their very strong tanking core of two prot warriors and two prot pallies. These guys are all really great tanks, so I conferred with the GL and decided to once again make Mandrena my main. Since that point I've been raiding with Mand, who is unfortunately a little undergeared, but I still enjoy pumping out the DPS. Revo is were I stand now, and we have cleared SSC, Cleared TK minus Kael, easily kill the first 3 bosses in Hyjal, and have downed the first boss in BT once. We got Azgalor to 6% earlier this week, and I am almost positive he will fall before the next reset, unless we go to SSC to get some gear.

Hopefully I can enhance the blogging community a bit with my knowledge of WoW and perhaps a few funny stories, but we'll see. Thanks!
